"New thread, last too big.
Ongoing clues :
Kinky Saint Claud is a show off (10)"
From looking at previous thread, no one gives the answers? I believe that I have got this Kinky Saint Claud one. |

Well done if so, it's not a very well known word at all. Normally with cryptic crossword clues, you will be in no doubt once you have got it, so that's why we don't spoiler it by giving an answer. Hints maybe, such as for this one it's a sort of 'proxy' exhibitionism.
Welcome to the thread, far to much of Slinky and me on these thread !

"Let's try a trickier one...
One being removed from wild frog taint is erotically pleasant? (8)
I think I have it, but shouldn't that an 'a' removed rather than an 'i' ?"
It could theoretically be either.
'One' could mean 'I' due to it being the Roman numeral, but it could also refer to 'a' as in the determiner specifying a quantity of one. I've seen both usages in cryptic clues.
As I said, it's a trickier one. |
