My photo on another profile

How do I go about getting a photo removed from someone else's profile? There is a profile using my photo. I've reported the profile but nothing has come of it. The profile is verified by other users but this one image they are using belongs to me.

Can admin help?

They will yes, but being patient is the key. Reports can take up to 48 hours to be looked at. Normally you won't hear anything back from a report but for this you will.

You will get a mail saying they are looking into it then one when/ if it is resolved

Quite a horrible feeling having your own photos used by someone else!

I always thought I'd feel flattered and not bothered but it's totally the opposite. I feel violated!

Have you thought about adding a watermark? might make stealing your pocs a little more difficult!

I've actually had this done to an old bugger like me believe it or not. I know how you feel OP I always watermark my pics now for this reason.

You won't even know. You'll have to keep checking to see if it's been removed cos admin won't tell you.

Certainly was the case for us, also when we asked the person with it to remove the female face picture he had as his own profile picture (not sure how this was ever verified in the first place) , they enlarged it, uploaded it again and then blocked us shortly after so we couldn’t see. Admin NEVER got back to us at all but fortunately friends of ours checked and he left the site shortly after.

I will repeat what I have said further up of what happens with stolen pic reports. Admin always act and send mails to people once verified.

If the person leaves the site before it can be looked into Admin won't be able to check it to send you the mail
