Our profile is currently hidden however we're still receiving messages.
Just wondered how that was possible?
We don't want to delete our profile as we'll be back in future but didn't want to be receiving messages while taking a break.
Can anybody help? |

Just hiding it is no good because you'll still be contactable by your friendslist or via pic pages. You have to apply all filters to stop everyone from contacting you, and remove all public pics. And you'll still get messages from your friends list if they have a message from to reply to. |

Anyone who clicks into your profile from say a forum post or a verification you've left etc etc, still gets the option to mail you even though it's hidden.
The easiest thing to do is just filter everyone.
Although this wont stop anyone you've ever mailed before being able to contact you.
