deleting individual messages

I prefer to do this rather than all of them with the same person but find I can't do that any more. Any chance we can have that facility back please ?

Also why are deleted conversations coming back when messaging the same person? If they were wanted we wouldn't delete them please change this back to the old way

Agree! Please allow for deleting individual messages and when we delete a message thread, why does my deleted messages return when the other party sends me a new message?

I actually like it the way it is now.

If someone messages me again I can see what was said before without having to try and remember something from a few weeks ago.

I don't understand why people have such an issue with it, surely it's more of a help than a hindrance.
