Is it possible to upgrade a single to couples

profile and keep the single man verifications?

No it isn't. You're photo verified as a single man so will need to start a new profile. You'll need a different email address

It's easy enough to set up a new email address.

Because the e-mail address is linked to your account. You can either deleted your current account and start a new one with your normal e-mail or keep your current account and open another with a different e-mail address.
