Hi there
I recently changed provider of my phone and kept phone. Called to take off filth block, delightfully polite Indian call centre lady clearly thought I was an old perv lol.
But I still cannot access fab when not on WiFi.
It's been annoying and it now becoming problematic.
It's to do with the site security certificate, but most of the advice I find is aimed at site admin. Could someone please advise a technophobe (well luddite) what I can do. I'd be forever grateful.
And if you could explain it like ypu we're speaking to a member of an amazonian tribe who has just emerged from the jungle and never seen a mobile before, that would be super helpful
Many thanks fabbers. |

Hi op,
99.9% of the time with security certificate error message when using mobile data is due to the provider having adult content block enabled.
You say that you have spoken to them to remove it, I'm just wondering if they actually did.
Most providers allow you to allow adult content by logging into your account with them.

"Thanks to those who posted advice. Indeed 02 hadn't taken off the block despite that phone call.
"
Glad you got it sorted.
I'm with O2 as well, and for some reason they turned my adult block back on last week, not sure why, maybe something to do with the Age Assurance that's coming in. |

"Hi OP, it possibly could be your phone settings in Google/Chrome, you could have safe search set so just turn that off.....
"
If you scroll up op gave the answer to the issue he was facing and was fixed |
