"How do I remove an unwanted verification any advice greatly appreciated "
Did the meet take place or if a cam veri, did they actually see/watch you?
If so, then no, you can't remove genuine verifications.
Is there a specific reason you want one removing? |

If you hide the summary you can still show verifications, and choose which ones to show. |

You can't verify anyone unless you're verified yourself. Photo verification doesn't count.
Here's the advice from the site FAQ's.
"I've met someone but neither of us are verified so how can we verify each other?
One of you needs to be verified in order to verify the other person. Your best bet is for the female to get verified by another member e.g. on cam or by phonecall."
*although obviously needs updating as phone veris haven't been possible for many a year. |

You can't leave verifications for people unless you're verified yourself.
By meet or cam. Photo verification doesn't count. |

It's to stop someone setting up two profiles themselves and self verifying. |

Been chatting with a new contact quite a bit now. Got to swapping numbers to arrange going forward and next meeting. Very long discussion face to face over WhatsApp video call.
As this was face to face and both happy faces matched profiles and details, would this count as a meeting in person or webcam, for purpose of verification? |

If you're not comfortable and they were rude just remove as friend. I believe this removes verifications from both sides. |

Blocking them removes the verification that you've left but the summary remains |

It doesn't pal as that is just friends and not connected with verification |

If you block them it stops them showing your verification. |
