How to delete 2 unread messages

I have two unread notification messages showing in the message box but actually no messages how can I delete these please

Leeds (close to G.A.P.)

Go to your inbox, menu bars top right corner, select delete all x

Yes I could but that then would delete all my messages in my box and some great correspondence from many people I like and still active. So was hoping for away without deleting all
