Somewhere off the edge of the map... 'ere there be monsters

If a topic I created has seemingly vanished, but I’ve not had a message about being timed out or banned, does that mean someone else/another user posted something against the rules in the topic?

Is there a way I can find out the reason?

Central

If you're banned, you will get notification but, as the majority of forum posts in a thread are made by others, the likelihood is that it's not you. The forum should generally be positive and upbeat for everyone, so topics that stray from this can be removed and closed.

If it was removed it may have broken rules. What was the subject?

I think Sophie means topics that are against rules are normally removed. Serious subjects or not so upbeat topics are allowed.

I get it if the offending post is removed, but the entire topic? Surely if it broke any rules I’d have been notified?

"If it was removed it may have broken rules. What was the subject?"

It was a continuation of an exiting topic that had reached the post limit. So I know the topic in and of itself wasn’t an issue. There were already a few posts in there, but nothing rule breaking from what I could see. Unless somebody posted something bad that I missed, but again why not just remove the post, why the whole thread?

Posts may have been removed that broke rules. If a thread goes haywire it will be removed whether the OP is within rules or not and the OP won't be informed.

Once I find out why it was removed I will let you know if a part 2 can be started

Although it seems to have gotten a bit disrespectful,it looks to have mistakenly been removed. If you want to start a part two that's fine and if it stays civil it will stay on.
