As a site supporter when sending a message containing a picture, it gives you a box to tick for the picture to delete after one viewing, however it's not the case, I only found out after I'd sent a few full frontals that I thought cudnt be saved because they were supposed to expire, one of the users I sent one was able to save it and he proved this by sending it back,I don't think that's very fab, very disappointing, any explanation moderator ? |

"I think they are removed after 24 hours. To be fair though a screenshot could be taken within a minute of seeing it.
https://www.fabswingers.com/articles/FAQ#rightclick" that contradicts the information I read when I decided to subscribe,I was really enjoying what I thought was a completely secure system and sent a lot that I now know could be uploaded on any site, my privacy has been compromised maybe I deserve to be be compensated in some way

I tend to only put up pics that I don’t mind the world seeing.
That includes no face pics except privately (though even that’s not completely safe, but certainly no naked ones showing my face).
AI and Photoshop can still manipulate them |

Here's an excerpt from the FAQ, on photos security here and in the internet generally -
'Q.
Why don't you right-click protect our photos to stop others stealing / saving them?
a. We believe in being straighforward with the members of Fab. Right click protect doesn't work and gives a false sense of security by pretending to "protect" images. Other sites may pretend they've protected your images but actually they're being dishonest by claiming that.
Right click "protect" can be gotten around in under 2 seconds by any of the following methods:
Simplest: Goto File menu, Save As, and save to desktop = The photos will be in a folder on your desktop that your browser has created.
OR... Disable JavaScript by going to Tools menu, choose Internet Options, Click the Security tab, click Custom Level, scroll to the "Scripting" section of the list and click Disable. Right click can now be used to save images.
OR... Press print screen and the image + page will be copied to clipboard where it can be pasted into a graphics program for resize or save.
We give you three privacy options on your photos and we now hide images from anyone who isn't a member of Fab. If you are worried about someone stealing your photos you may want to set them to be viewable only by your friends, or private in which case you can send by private mail.
We also now watermark all photos upon upload'
