There are varied ways to renew membership and Silver and Gold get differing time periods.
You can buy multiple units of membership, such as from text messages and also purchase via credit or debit card. Silver will typically get the longest duration. The actual duration depends on when you joined Fab - earlier members will typically renew for longer periods.

You can change your age once and then have to ask admin if you need to change it again. It is to stop people changing their age to bypass filter.
