When I send a message, why does their profile log off?

Most of the time when I send a message to someone who is online. When I check back to their profile, they appear to have logged of at the same time as the message is sent!! This happens 95% of the time. Is it to do with the refresh speed of this site? Which is very poor. |

Coincidence. Many, perhaps most of us, don't immediately view and respond to messages, so you are better viewing them less like instant messaging systems. The closest to immediacy would be the cam chat rooms, where those users are potentially more open to quicker interactions.
People need their own time to do what they are going about their lives doing and not being expected to multitask, by noticing all the interactive bits of the site as well as why they are here. They may no longer be online, when you think they are, as many of us don't log out.
Send and put it out of your mind. There's nothing worse than feeling harassed to be instantaneous here, especially when a high proportion of messages are expecting immediate sex or responses |
