What are the rules on advertising parties?

We get quite a few invites to parties and swinging club events and after a couple of years of attending them, we're thinking of holding some ourselves. Apartment, buffet etc and have some fun with it.

Whilst a lot of swinging clubs etc advertise on here, I know part of fab T&C's is not to advertise any kind of commercial service and if we did decide to have a go at this, we'd want to make sure it wasn't at a cost to ourselves and preferably make a bit of profit for the effort.

Just to clarify, what are the rules around advertising paid entrance parties? Is it allowed, and if so, what are the boundaries/ restrictions? It could be fun to try, but we don't want to do anything that's against the site rules.

Making profit from a private party means you are operating as a business. Which is only allowed on this site if you are an actual registered and licensed business (ie a club).

It's a tricky subject. Most consider it reasonable to ask for a small amount to cover costs but don't want to be ripped off - single men especially have been asked to pay large amounts to get entry to a party.

Bear in mind that by asking people to pay they may believe that they are then entitled to play (they've paid organisers who wish to make a profit so they must be paying for sex so they want their sex). This would clearly lead to problems.

Be very careful with this one OP, it could backfire in many ways.

The basics are that advertising services like parties for money is against the rules of the site.
