is he on o2 by any chance? Cos after months of accessing here on my phone they decided yesterday I had to verify my age and that cost a quid on a credit card but they take it off the bill

Sometimes the networks own stores can take the adult bar off, so go into your nearest store from your network.

Every time I change my phone or get a new sim it seems to go back on.

Just a suggestion - and I'm not sure if it will bypass the Network block - But download Opera Mini for your phone - it's a free browser and 99% of the time it gets around this network blocking issue.

Sounds like a network thing as people have said. You should be able to get any age restriction on your phone removed free by going to an O2 shop and asking (and having ID).

Sounds like 02 as this has happened to me recently. You should still have access, if you can, via wifi. Don't pay the money, ring customer services instead and explain, I have 2 accounts with them and done this with both.

Looks like this has happened across the web to many sites today, not just on Fab.

O2 charge your card £1 to adult verify but they credit your phone with £2.50.

https://ageverification.o2.co.uk/

(Alternatively as we say above visit an O2 store along with ID)

We've not heard great things about O2's age verification system recently. Give them a hard time about it if you're a customer.
