Have you changed your settings in your browser?

One thing to try is to start a command prompt.

Windows XP:

Click start then "run" and type "cmd" then enter.

Windows Vista/7

Click start then type "cmd" then enter.

At the C: prompt type the following

ping images.fabswingers.com

then enter.

It should say Reply from 92.63.131.212 .....

If not and says no reply your internet connection somewhere along the line is blocking you. What computer hardware (PC,Mobile,NetBook etc?) are you using and how does it connect to the net?

Try turning off any software antivirus and firewall to test this. But don't visit any other sites or download stuff with these turned off!

Some sort of DNS or filewall issue if you try google dns as per instructions above that should fix.

Err we didn't do anything

But glad it's working

Shame we couldn't track down the exact problem though.

I got him to ping the IP address of the image server (92.63.131.212) and it reported web address blocked.

So either antivirus/firewall/modem/router or the ISP is doing something. Why it is intermittent no idea!

I suspect over zealous antivirus. We had to get a client to remove AVG web protection as it blocked printing and links in SSRS, brilliant!

PS for anyone else experiencing problems accessing a site you can do the following:

1) Go to google and type in "website ip address"

2) the top link takes you to a page where you can enter www.yoursite.com. It will give you the sites IP address

3) go to a command prompt (start-run and enter "cmd" or for win vista/7 just start and enter "cmd")

4) type at the prompt

ping 127.0.0.1

where you put the ip address you got from step 2 in place of 127.0.0.1

You should see reply from site.... if not it is getting blocked somewhere.

If that is the case type

tracert 127.0.0.1

again replace the ip address with the one you got from step 2.

This will show the route your computer is taking to get to the website. If it shows it is getting to your ISP then the issue typically is somewhere else in the tinternet or with your ISP. Otherwise it may be your computer/firewall.

Thanks
