Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

Browsing through profiles and meet/events I have noticed that there isn't always a match between regions and cities. For instance I have seen Blackpool listed as being in the North East, and Leeds being listed as North West. Obviously this will affect searches if I am looking for people and/or places near me and end up only with results in other regions.

Any way to remedy this?

Only workaround is to use the advanced search page (assuming you're searching for people) and enter the postcodes you're interested in.
