Hi,
I recently did an introduction which was called yet another newbie and I felt it came off disingenuous due to ignoring the major elephant in the room.
Long story short, early 20’s survived a rare form of cancer only to have an old condition from when I was a baby ro reactivate. My body stopped working as it should, I couldn’t balance, could walk only short distances before coming really tired and my immune system was shot. To retrain my body, to build fitness took a long time, years and years. I eventually got to the point where I could socialise and I decided as a dare to myself, join fab and see what fun I could have. I am 6ft, average build, open minded, wondering how to start. Fortunatley I have made good friends at Empire, so this is a good start. Now I’m verified, I may tentatively message some nice people and see where it goes. And hopefully this post didn’t suck too hard. Thanks for reading.xx |
