Whilst I realise that most of us have a good social network, perhaps consider how you could get swiinging friends, to help introduce you to others, visit places together etc.
It is often hard for single guys, so find ways to influence things in your favour. You're not far away, and there are clubs etc around here. I'd also encourage you to put much more on your profile, and you'll see lots of tips around the forums about how we can improve ours.
