Hello. I'm a single male. Hetero. 35 years old. Aberystwyth resident.
I have spent the past four years trying to get to know like-minded people. I'm always been abit open minded, from the day I first visited a naturist beach. Since then I've visited swingers clubs, been to poly meetings, the works!
The problem has been finding people to socialise with. I've rarely met anyone I've been able to stay in contact with- "if you come to our socials you'll always meet new people" isn't always a plus.
The other problem has been living in a town far from anywhere else. If I were to travel for a few hours to visit a friend I've known for some time, that's fine. If it's to see a random group of people I'll never see again, that's less enticing. You're probably the same- travelling to see someone has to be really worth it.
So here is my solution: I'm posting here for anyone up to Birmingham and around there (maybe Liverpool/Bristol?) that would like to meet someone from far away. I can make a journey out to there. I've done long distance relationships before and they can work if handled properly, and I've plenty of friendships with people all around the UK. I can probably only be a FWB at most due to the distance, but that doesn't mean we can't have some interesting times together.
Anyone here have friends that come to see them every so often? I'm up for that. It's an adventure. It's lovely to go and see someone now and then. Very few people have a friend circle that extends only past their front door.
I like going for walks. I'm comfortable on a beach with my clothes off. I love talking about history, and I'm a fiend for board games. One day I might put those things together and make a board game about going for a walk on a historic nudist beach. Maybe.
If you're about to type "just go to more socials", don't. I'm always up for socials! It's just that I've never posted in this channel, and thought I might. Can't do any harm.
So.... who's up for meeting the silly idiot who lives on the edge of the world?
