When did you discover nudism?

"To all the fellow nudists out there, I’d love to know when and how you discovered nudism and what got you hooked on it? "
It was all very secretive, I was young and was in my Grandma's secluded large garden, it was summer, hot, and she encouraged it. |

Was naked at home when I was alone in mid teens. Slept naked from a similar age.
Then managed to get naked on a deserted beach about 17 and first proper nude spa at 20.
Haven't looked back since. So many fun experiences over the years |

We both kind of always been naked people as individuals. As to social nudity or nudity outside of the home that's something we discovered together when we met. We met on the scene and to some extent used to it in clubs anyway. We were talking and realised it was also an option in a vanilla sense outside of the home. We went to a beach and it felt like coming home. Just care free, it felt how things should be and not annoying swimwear stuck to us. From there we discovered other beachs, holiday resorts, spa's and organised events. It a great life and we just get be our own care free selves. Naturism to us is something so normal to our everday life. Hopefully the barriers and stigma will break down over time. And British Naturism does a great job of fight our cause and defending our rights. |

I was 14/25 away on holiday with cousins we would all get naked go swimming I loved it
Love the freedom and the wind against my skin, unfortunately its frowned upon in the west of Ireland and it’s difficult meet other naturists who can accommodate |

Never cared much for clothes growing up once i bought my own house in my mid 20s i was always naked. Now wuth a wife who is not into nudism its bot very often i go naked now |

Personally I love to be naked as much as possible and always have from about age 13. Socially I got into it early 30s I guess as something I enjoyed with others. Haven't done much by way of more public nudism (beaches etc) but would like to, but ideally with a friend or two! |

Is she not tolerant of you living a naturist lifestyle around the the house or is it a self constraint? Is it something you've talked about regarding your needs? I understand that's not her thing but it seems that you're not being able to be yourself. We come across other couples on our travels where one is a naturist and the other a textile and happily spend time together accepting each others chosen state of dress. |

I was brought up with my four sisters in a very quiet part of Cambria on a farm, during the summer we used to swim naked in a lake so being with no clothes wasn't unusual, sometimes their friends came and joined us, that was the start of my pleasure of being naked outdoors with others |

I read a post here, about a lad going to his mates house when they were at school and his mates family were nudist and it seems he joined in after a few visits. I just can’t imagine, me going to my mates house when I was a teenager as I was always hard then and probably would have been so embarrassed |

In a 4yr relationship from 2002, both of us full time naked around the house; discovered the beach at Morfa Dyffryn around 2006.
The piercings are always a talking point, I was in a hot pool in Iceland with a Dutch couple all three admiring our different metalwork. |

I dont think I have ever not been a naturist.
I can remember camping trips when I was quite young running around nude with other kids who were too... Things were different back then!
Then from my early teens I would often get naked if I had the house to myself often with the purpose of wanking myself silly of course, but I would usually stay naked once I had ejaculated if I had no reason to dress.
However it was at uni that I really started to recognise that I was a naturist. I would work naked in my halls of residence room (door locked!) and girlfriends would be either horrified or delighted at my suggestions for frequent outdoor and indoor nakedness when the opportunity allowed.
It was only when one girlfriend who had grown up with nudist parents asked me if I had done the same that I really started thinking of myself as a nudist.
Since then I never looked back and often go to nude beaches, holiday resorts, clubs and at home when possible. |

I decided to bite the bullet about 20 odd years ago. Went to Rios, in Kentish Town. Was so nervous. In the changing room, I asked someone in there if you actually walk around naked. Lol
Best thing I ever did. It made me so much more confident in my own skin.
I just wish I had more opportunities to go to spas and clubs like that. Its not the swinging I go for, it's being able to be naked away from just home.
I'd love to find a group that enjoyed the same in or near South London |

When I was in senior school after sports we had communal showers so seeing the lads all naked together became a norm. As I got older and left school I continued with the sport now the guys were much more developed. My first public naked experience was on holiday with my wife. She had taken to being topless so one day on our hotel back y I suggested we go naked. I went first she followed my cock stood to attention. She asked if I thought anyone could see us I said not sure don’t care and went to get us drinks now fully exposing myself. When I returned after a few drinks I told her to get up and flash herself. She giggled and did it then said people were watching. It was the following year we went to Ibiza that we went on a nudist beach in public |

It never even occured to me until about ten years ago.
I go walking in Eryri (Snowdonia) a few times each year. I’d been to Morfa Dyffryn a few times just for a clothed walk, as it’s a gorgeous beach.
One year, I thought “what the hell” and went to the nudist section. It was a fairly brisk, windy day at Easter, so I was the only person there 
It lit a spark though, and I have been there many times since. I was surprised how liberating and relaxing I found it . |

In my early teens my mate told me him and his family were nudists. I got super intrigued that I tried it with them one weekend and never looked back. Spent many evenings and weekends nude with them over the years |

We had family friends who were nudists n i spent part of my summer holidays with them in france. First few days I kept my trunks on but my pal n his sister soon convinced me t take them off. It was quite liberating. X |

On holiday in fuerteventura few years ago.
Went to the beach, and started seeing lots of people naked. So decided what the hell, got my kit off and enjoyed.
It was great. Looking forward to doing it again.

Quite recently for me. I was skiing in Austria and there was a great spa at my hotel. I quickly discovered what the sign “non-textile” meant.
Mixed group, all fit and attractive. I loved the discovery that you can be naked with beautiful people and it not be sexual…. Very freeing…. |

I discovered it by accident when I was in my mid-20s- in Belgium of all places. The beach in Ostend was packed like sardines, so I got on the tram and went to the next town, called Bredene. I found that the beach was a lot quieter there, and there was also a bit that was naturist. I got my kit off, and it felt unusual for a bit... and then I just felt a huge wave of freedom.
Nowadays, it feels weird if I go to the beach and I'm NOT nude. And to have to put on a pair of swimming trunks, which shrink, have to be washed... To me, in the summer, to wake up, feel the warm sunshine coming through on my skin as I'm having some breakfast, makes me feel good.
My best experiences of nudity/naturism have been travelling abroad. I've met some really interesting people when staying in naturist places, and the experience of social nudity in Germany in saunas makes me wish that I'd done German at school! Although it's expensive, I'd recommend Therme Erding near Munich, which is an experience like no other. |

First real time was when on holiday in a remote gite in France, tried skinny dipping in the pool and never put my trunks back on
In Public it was nn holiday in El Cotillo in Feurtoventura, went to the beach, realised it was more nude than textile and just joined in - led to several more holidays like that. Did port lecuate in France but Cap is on my to do list |

Nudism is not so common like states over here to be honest. I guess mainly due to weather.
Personally, I find nudism refreshing because it strips away all materialistic things, allowing you to just be yourself. It reveals the true person underneath, without any filters. This can make one feel quite vulnerable, but like everything else, I believe it comes with its own benefits. |
