They may well be looking at you in stealth mode. Have a look round the forums and faq's. The subject of deleted messages comes up about 7 times a day...

Simply put, men here have to make the effort, sorry but that's the way it is. There are hundreds, if not thousands of men here to every woman. Lay out your wares properly and you *may* reap the rewards.

Waiting for people to strike up a conversation based on the bare bones of your profile is highly unlikely to get you far.
