I have updated my profile description and wondered if anybody could please give me their opinions on it?

It seems fine to me, sets out exactly what you're after. Some people might say you need to put a bit about what you can offer too but overall I think it does the job.

Possibly. When all's said and done you need to have a profile that reflects you and attracts the people you're after.
