Hello to you both.

Take your time, try a few social meetings first.

Visiting a club is a great idea as it helps open your mind, after all you don't have to play.

Maybe try the chat rooms or just get to know people on the forums for a bit first.

Good luck.

The Attic in Derby is good for newbies as well. It's a smallish club with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Chams is fine for a social meet. There are always people there but it is better to go with another couple if you can arrange it.

Take your time though, don't rush into anything and don't let anyone else try to rush you into it either.

Go with an open mind. If you meet someone you like, go with the flow. If you go first time with the intention of not playing and you happen to meet someone, if you don't take the opportunity to try it, you might not feel the same way about the next couple you meet.

Just relax, and enjoy it. If it happens, hopefully it will be a good experience

hi ya,

and welcome to the site.

being new to the scene can be really scary. and getting over the first few hurdles can be tricky.. but just remember that you dont need to rush.. just progress at the speed both feel happy with.

Socials are the best way to meet others from the site.. and they are a safe enviroment.

if your trying Chams for the first time, its best done on a quiet day... which would then allow both you and your partner to get use to the surroundings. sundays are normally a good day as its not too busy. and you get a broad mix of people.

with regards non club socials. there is one normally held in Cannock which is not too far away from walsall. or there is the Coventry one which is held ever 4 or so months (next one in July).

if you want any advice. or a friendly ear to chat too, feel free to PM me. or alternatively.. more than happy to meet for a coffee in Waslall sometime... as i'm only a stone through away from the centre.

Got to second what jiggle says.

Me and Jax are chams regulars and we can say with all honesty there is no pressure there. Watch, play together, play with others or simply chill and chat.

I broke into the scene via socials and they are a great way to meet people, hell thats how i met the jiggle. Feel free to get in touch via here or our couples profile "kiddytoxcpl" for any questions or advice.

Good luck, happy swinging and stay safe.

Craig
