New guy looking for photoshoots

Hey
I've played on the swinging scene in the past and decided to dip back in again. Friendly and like a laugh and adventure.
Really keen to take sexy pictures of women / couples.

In a way yes, I have spent into the thousands on my gear. But you still need to know how to compose the shot and how to manipulate the light...ita not a case of point and shoot and just because you have an expensive camera and lens your going to get a good photo.... a good photographer can take a better photo with a shit camera than a shit photographer can take with a professional camera.  I'm guessing tho on here will be mostly someone who owns a decent camera saying they are a pro to get to take naked pics... |

I think you will find it not about the gear. A good photographer can take some amazing shots with just about any camera. Again depending on what was to happen with these pics. Maybe you would need a full frame camera for exams if the shots were to be printed in large |

I've done several photoshoots for people on here but I can't put them on my profile because I'm not in them. |

I've done more street photography and stuff on adventures. Keen to try shooting people.

I'm quite good at taking my own pics with a half decent bridge camera and a tripod, or even with my iPhone, just using the timer |

Jeez, the OP merely said he fancied giving it a shot. He didn't claim he was a pro OR offer a service, he asked if anybody fancied it. I know many men with questionable image-producing credentials do but he didn't. So hands off the trigger!
Welcome OP. I enjoy taking the odd snap also and posing occasionally so I agree with you taking nudies is great fun. |

Yes, but some well taken, pro quality, self portrait pics still show what can be achieved. |

There are two sides to this.
One, is you are completely correct, and what you say is true.
The other is lots of people offer 'photoshoots' as a way of getting in the bedroom with naked peoople, having no more equipment, experience or skill than you or I.
Taking pics on a phone or £50 camera is fun, enjoyed by lots of people, but it isn't a photoshoot. |

Plenty of 'GWC' out there that have all the gear but can't that a decent shot - model mayhem / purple port full of them!! |

Unless there is a hassleblad with an f1.0 50mm lens I couldn't possibly belive he is a pro. Heard it all before.
I've done shoot for 3 people on here. All worked well everyone was happy. We did it in a pro studio and got some good results.
The op just asked a question.....if you don't want to get involved pipe down and wind your neck in. |

There is an open photoshoot at Townhouse on 5th August. Amateur, semi-pro, pro Models @ Photographers. All different ages, body types and levels of photography. Might be a good starting place? Could get some hints and tips and have a practice? |
