4 weeks I've been here now so not a newbie - but boy must I be picking the wrong'uns!!

I think my profile is now at a stage of development I'm happy with. My opening msg's are what I'd call decent. My chat once in a convo I think is ok. But lots of females either go quiet or block me/hide profile & im stumped as to why.

I live in a small ish town and do try to chat to local females/couples - maybe they recognise me & don't want me to recognise them ... maybe I'm wrong, miles away and just shit at Fab

God loves a tryer though ...

Its hard to get your personality across when you write short sentences as you have so maybe after a brief chat, they find you're not for them?

"I like your photos.

Thanks Sally

But what about the profile as a whole & the text in it...

If more local would it make you want to msg or reply?

If you don't mind me saying hun, the first sentence is a little stand offish and isn't welcoming at all. Yes, the short sentences I'm referring to is your profile. Its to the point writing it like that but doesn't get any of your personality or humour across.

Ok - so the attempt of the profile is a good idea but just not very well executed or in a warm welcoming manner

Is that what you're saying/suggesting?
