Fabbers of a certain age will know what I’m asking if they were a Ska, Mod or Heavy!

Which one are you?

Couldn't beat Ska in the 80's. My school uniform was black blazer & trousers, white shirt. So, naturally, we tied our ties with the thin side uppermost. Slip on loafers with metal tips, you could hear us walking a mile away. Not that I ever considered myself cool, but that was the pinnacle for me. All downhill after that....

Ska! Brilliant sound even today! And the message behind it is still relevant! While I wouldn't admit it back then,The Jam were fantastic too!!!

Same here - we swapped sta-prest school trousers for black canvas - but it was DM boots for me in school - the loafers and white socks were for the weekend ! And painting your grey satchel flap black and white check lol
