I've got the p40pro since November It's still in its box as its doesn't have Google services so avoid. I didn't do my research. Class phone so hoping Biden makes up with the Chinese. I'm stuck with my p20 pro, still working fine. |

Depends on what you need to use it for Op
Check out GSMArena for good reviews of all the latest phones
I'd recommend Samsung because they're a great phone
The flagships are expensive from €900 with great camera's and battery but there's a hell of a lot of choice in the cheaper end
I don't know other Android brands because i only buy Samsung |

Last two phones have been Motorola.
Currently a G7 power which does everything asked of it and a battery that easily lasts 2 days with normal use.
Great camera and storage and cost £160.
Never seen the point of paying more than that for a few bells and whistles.
There are newer models available. |

I know you said not Samsung but I would reconsider. I bought Samsung A90 last year. Best phone I ever had. Multiple background apps running yet battery lasts 2 or 3 days. |

The IP rating of the Samsung phones is why I tend to stick with them. Working outdoors in all weather makes a waterproof phone a necessity. |

I just got a hawaui P30 lite pea"cock" lol blue the new edition. Had a p20 for over 2 and about 3 years so was happy with the life of it. It actually still partly works as a spare after i got a new screen.  |

I'm actually looking to change my phone too Huawei is a pretty decent but since the newer phones don't have Google services there is no point getting one
Maybe a Sony Ericsson I have no intentions to by iPhone Samsung is a bit ify I've heard so many problems with them whether they are true or not |

How long did that phone last? Heard of a few peoples’ not lasting long enough to get an upgrade?
What’s your aversion to Samsung or Apple might I ask? Do you like to be different? |

Don't think Ericsson are part of the Sony picture these days.
Samsung iffy? I still have Galaxy S2 and S4 that work perfectly so not sure which ones you've heard of. S8 was good but I'd never buy a curved edged screen phone again as screen protector kept slipping off. S10e is excellent and I'll be sticking with Samsung for next one after having tried a few others over the last few years.

Samsung make great phones. They are popular for a reason. I'm using the S8 and I love it. Perfect size. I'm not using screen protector though. I would find it hard to change to a different brand android phone now. Maybe the Google pixel 4a. |

Can hold two SIM cards so if you have two phones like one for work and then your own personal use then you can put both SIM cards into the one phone. Or if you have an "extra curricular activities" SIM  |

Poco x3 NFC is great value for the specs
Xiaomi mi 10
One plus 9 if you have a few euro to spend or the Nord if you want to spend a bit less.
All those bang for buck will beat the Samsung's or apple of this world
All the Chinese phones come with dual sim and most are now 120hz screens and fast charging. Mine lasts for 2 days and can charge from 0 to 100 in about 30 mins |

Gotta love quick charge, so much so I just order the new Vivo iQoo 7. 100% charge in 15 mins supposedly, can't wait to try it out |

they have re boxed the p40 Pro into a p 30 so you still get all the Google apps and backup.
