I've always thought a roast is best on a Sunday, a nice piece of beef and roast potatoes

Sunday morning is brunch time. Grill the lot but has to include hash browns and smoked streaky rashers or it's not right. Oh and Rudd's white puddings with great coffee

Newry Down

Wash the dishes that have been piling up for a week, wash my socks, vacuum my bedroom and, in contrast to the material I normally read every day, buy a really crap redtop Sunday newspaper, such as Sunday Life, and try to acquire some understanding of what normal people are doing: football, horse racing, celebrity culture envy, drug crime, GAA, and other meaningless superficial mindless garbage!

Sundays are the days I plan to do nothing after a walk with my dad, providing I'm not working.

I don't go out and I don't meet. Its me time.

And I have a tunnocks caramel wafer with a big cup of tea
