I have it, don’t use it too much but the little that I did it worked out very handy.

Have it for years. I find it great. It really is a market disrupter, and is forcing the banks and credit card companies to look at the service that they provide.

Yes we both use it, but it can be too handy when it comes to the youngest looking for money while she's away at college

I use it for buying anything online, have a couple of vaults set up for saving. My son pays his share of the house bills into it.

Have a wee bit of cryto in it too.

If I go away for weekend I put my spending money into it and leave my other cards at home

I’ve been buying silver on it, I know notions , sold a load of it last week and the following day each unit had gone up another euro

I use it for personal and business use. Find it extremely convenient but they’ve never made a profit and are in a huge financial hole. Your money is secured but if it goes bad it could be a while before you see it.

Really handy app, use it all the time and have the kids pocket money set up on it to go into their account every week. I even bought some bit coin on it recently but that's on a downward trend since

I've set it up but I'm not sure it's working properly. It doesn't seem to allow me to receive amounts over €299. If someone could try sending €300 just to see if they've fixed it.

I'll send it straight back, of course...goes without saying....

Yep, it's very handy. I like the virtual disposable cards so that you can shop online without fear of your card details getting stolen.

I know! It's quite perplexing.

Customer support advised me to ask random people to try send the money so that they can properly diagnose the problem.

I applied for an account for going to Dublin bc of the no fee thing and then never used it.

Don't actually know if there are no foreign exchange fees.

I must actually read what its about.

Its a prepaid debit card, you can link it to your bank account. I originally got it for travelling to Jersey as no exchange charges.

If I'm up the North I use it instead of my normal bank card.

As for regulation Since Jan 2021 – all Irish customer accounts at Revolut are regulated by the Lithuanian Central Bank. Revolut hopes to eventually get a licence from the Irish Central Bank. Reckon the banks here are putting a stop to them getting the licence.

doesn't surprise me one bit it's a Niche market and they want to keep a tight grip on it.

Change is on the way its looking like an almost cashless society

Just heard last week 100s,50s and 20s stg are for the chop before long ,Sept 25 this year so that just leaves you with petty cash

What advantage does it have over your regular debit card?

I mean, I can see the advantage when travelling kind of but over and above that?

It's great when everything is smooth, as your main account it can prove difficult to contact support.

In saying that it's pretty difficult to contact any bank at the moment. Also it's impossible to add cash to your account, it needs to be an electronic transfer.
