"Why is the plural of deer deer but the plural of beer beers"
The s on beer plural it gives you a sense of quantity, more than one while with deer it doesn't really matter if you saw one or 3.

What don't barbers have a hairdryer that not only blows hot air out to dry hair but also can go in reverse to hoover up small hairs from neck and head post cut  |

"Why does the letter W start with a D"
From memory the Roman alphabet did not have a letter 'w' so they orignally spelt it as 'UU' (double U) but around the time of the first printing press they switched it to 'VV' (double V's representing douvle U's) - assuming for a basic printing limitation related reason...
Hopefully I just didnt make all that up  |

It has to do with the root of the word, whether it came from Germanic, Latin, Greek etc. English, more than any other language, begs, borrows and steals from so many others |

Yeah it's mad when you think about it, the water has survived drinkable for millions of years but thre plastic it's housed in only lasts 1.5-2 years before it can start releasing a tiny amount of chemicals into the water its holding due to time, temp, sunlight etc so there has to be a best before date before the bottle could potentially make the water toxic  |

And working with deers would be known as deering.
On a side note... is not the collective term for a group of old women, "old deers" |

Once upon a time there was glass bottles, a recycable container with no adverse effects on its content...
