I usually use the ones in Belfast

Dublin airport too expensive and I don't go into Dublin city centre

Dublin Galway Belfast

Used the Hampton Hilton in Belfast £50/60 and the maldron at Dublin airport good few times similar price

It’s a bit out of town,just past the prison but the food is good and hopefully this time it will work for us

Sounds good ..... as long as any daytime activity in the hotel doesn't lead to a longer term stay in the nearby prison

I’d say if you can’t book a room and have the time to relax, have fun and stay the whole night and get value from what you are paying for (hotel room) then it’s a lot of effort otherwise.

I’ve only used the Christchurch one, so handy and cheap. But the car park works out expensive if you spend all day there

That dayuse.ie website is handy but just to note even though it says on website no credit card needed you will be asked to provide one at the hotel. This might prove difficult for those attached people trying to pay in cash. I stayed in Jury's Christchurch it was very handy but you will need to come down to reception to bring your guest up as it's key card access to lifts.

One of the hotels in Parnell does day rates. The one on the corner can't remember it's name!

Id be amazed to find a hotel,that actually has a room available these days,for a paying guest.

A certain russian man,and those 3 comedy acts in Leinster House,have ruined it for eveyone else..
