Brief Encounters is a 4,000 sq ft cruise/meeting/relax/play space for gay/bi and hetero people in Cork City.
It has 2 cinemas, private boots, glory holes, group fun rooms and a 2000 sq ft luxurious lounge to chill in. It's open 7 days a week.
It's easily identifiable as it has a flashing scrolling sign outside that's says Adult Store-Brief Encounters.
Entrance is through the adult store and costs 15 for an all day pass.
Hours / Best Times:
Sun - Mon 12 Noon - 10:00 pm
Fri - Sat 11:00 am - 1:00 am
Who Goes There
It's a mix of all ages from 18 upwards. Everyone is welcome.
How to Get There
The intersection of lower Oliver Plunkett Street and Connell St Its the street opposite Utopia adult store at the back of the bus station, you will see the scrolling LED sign for Brief Encounters.
Cruising Info/Tips
Go in grab a seat watching whichever screen gets your attention, try get the attention of one of the other customers and head into the discreet areas in the back.
Nudity
Nudity is allowed except in the adult store section.

Definitely recommend a pre arranged meet as there can be times when it's overwhelming with males only that want access to hot brunette.
It's the only place left in Cork now after the loft closed down so limited for places to go.

Chances of running into someone you know are extremely slim, unless ye have invited someone ye know 
2nd question is relevant to the first answer.. Yuck by the way
3rd question is same as above.. Double yuck 
4th question in our opinion a pre arranged meet cuts out any perv's or unwanted guests and the management take this seriously and the offender or offenders are duely kick out in their butts 
5th question masks? Of course, but Where's the fun in wearing masks unless it's a dress up kind of thing which is really kinky

There are quieter times there when it's suitable for couples on pre arranged meets, which in our experience is the best time to go there, it has its busy periods for males which we won't divulge for obvious reasons.
In general its a place that could be doing more in its interior but it does what it says on the tin which is good enough for us.  |

Seems that a fab takeover is called for..... Either set up a committee to agree and organise and have endless discussions and back and forth waffle and never actually do anything. Or preferably someone just says a time and those who want to go and enjoy the facilities, go and enjoy themselves.... |

Just an fyi, When you pay to go in, you can drop in and out during the rest of the day and night.
So if you're out and about on a Saturday you drop in at different times to see what's happening
I would be more inclined to prearrange a meet.
Also, there is a flame club night, social meet being held there every few months, search out flame club on forums. Invite only and organised with a mix of attendees etc

Hey I would arrange a meet frist with people as I went there before with a girl and we just went into see wat it was like but it was just full of men no other couples or females it was very uncomfortable as when we went in stright away we were followed around the place by 3 men herself was very afraid so we walked stright back out but thats our experience. Juat said I let ye know |
