I don’t think I could narrow it down, do you consider a group and a band to be different? Because I love the Wu Tang Clan but would I consider them a band? Not really, but they are, in my opinion unrivalled, as collective they’ve released many great albums and that’s before you even look at their solo work.

As for bands Ride, Slowdive, Mazzy Star, The Velvet Underground, Nothing, South, Death In Vegas, DIIV, Oasis (up to and including Be Here Now), The Verve (first two records), Pulp, Spindrift, Arab Strap, Mogwai, The Cure, Sigur Rós, Whipping Boy, Radiohead … the list is endless.

Some may regard this as being heretical, but I could never personally understand the popularity of U2, _specially abroad!

I think people identify with bands at the height of their popularity, at a particular stage in their adolescence; for me the bands of the early sixties through to the later 70s are most memorable, with a smattering of singers from the fifties.

I cannot relate to the rest, no matter how good or how popular they were!

Can't lie but was blessed to have seen them live a few times , was to see them last November, the can got kicked down the road until June this year and then l got an email saying it was cancelled completely but as always my thoughts and best wishes go out to his family & loved ones ,I'll never forget one night when l went to see Aslan in concert , there was a lady in a wheelchair who wanted to shake Christy's hand , he went over to the corner of the stage and he lid down on the stage and reached down to the lady and shook her hand , in my eyes that alone was just pure class ..pure class.

"Always depends on the mood.

Anything from Metallica to AC/DC to Marilyn Manson to The Cranberries to U2 to ABBA to The Saw Doctors to 90s/00 Dance tunes and most of inbetween!

Current pet hate is the whole Sheeran-Kennedy-Capaldi drone music!

Sheeran-Kennedy-Capaldi Don’t get me started that shot makes my blood boil.

Absolutely, it's at the point now where I couldn't tell them apart if they played on the radio.

Hear hear, elevator music of the lowest order.

Saw Capaldi in concert last week...not a bad singer live...very good with his fans and you can see he struggles to be up there...admire him for getting as far as he has "

Saw him in Belfast last week, he was soooo good!!! Unfortunately he was havin a bad day with his Tourettes syndrome, but he was still an excellent performer!

Fat boy Slim. Velvet Underground. Ennio Morricone. I really shouldn't be so closed minded....lol
