Dublin

Hi folks.

Does anyone know of any hotels that allow day use (9am to 5pm approx) around Portlaoise or close to…

I have checked normal websites and none listed in that area.

Just wondering if anyone has any experience in this area. PM if necessary.

Thanks in advance. D.

Kildare

If you Google the words day and use you'll find hotels offering rooms from 9 to 5. But they only have Dublin ones and other cities. I'm pretty sure from memory the Maldon in Portlaoise will do this but you can't book through site you need to call and ask for reception.

somewhere

You can always try get a single room with no breakfast in any hotel and ask for early check in

You can get a room from 2pm and leave the same night after walking someone up to your room

Contact hotels directly. I was checking one out last week, it didn't show on the dayuse website but when I rang them they confirmed I could book 9 to 5. Unfortunately for you it was nowhere near the Midlands.

I haven't used it yet, I enquired about it last week. Hopefully I'll be staying there next week

I use the radisson in limerick near bunratty regularly. Ask for early check in at 11am and not expensive. Don’t need room key to access lifts or stairs
