There's a definite gap in the market somewhere between the Speaking Clock and the Samaritans 
Somewhere all of us lonely singles could have a chat and a laugh with another human for a few minutes when you hit those bad days where it all seems just a little bit shite.

Hi Peach,
Well done for putting it out there, that suggests it wouldn't get too far before you do ask for help.
In my experience, even the loneliest person normally has someone somewhere to reach out to, it doesn't have to be a bestie.
I'd bet there are people in your who you might unknowingly be pushing away as that's how feeling down can work. We push people away when feeling low and then feel bad when their not there.
I currently use the EAP service in my job and would recommend it to anyone who has this as an option.
I genuinely hope you're ok and my PM is always open to anyone who needs a chat. |

Definitely is!! IMO everyone should do counselling at some stage. Take the taboo away its just talking. You can say stuff without fear of judgement by anyone in your life.
What have you got to lose?
If it doesn't work you've learned something. It might even spur you in to try something else.
Things in your head can spiral. When said out loud to someone they take on a whole new meaning and you can bring the logic back into the thought process.
