It's both kids and family friendly, it is not all gambling and casinos. You have shows, circus, aquarium that's amazing! Area 51, lots of outlying towns and old gold mining and cowboy places of old! Excalibur, luxur & circus circus can keep kids entertained indefinitely |

I just replied to the notion that besides the clubs, gambling, shows Vegas has lots lots more! I don't gamble so making best use of your time is key! Every shop and casino has Loyalty cards, all their newspapers have 1,000 coupons and leaflets like aldi, lidl ones, also shops do specials like bars have happy hours, Tuesday 8 to 10 20% off, plus your first purchase Loyalty card reward 25% off, and coupon from the paper 15% off... or clothes or show for 100 dollars can be got for 40 and you did it in minutes. |

Just looked at flights...still about 700 return but I suppose thats normal for long distance
Visited last November for 5 days and really enjoyed the place and the shows especially U2 and I waited 16 years to see The Beatles Love show
Everything can be expensive in vegas so its a couple of thousand for a few days visit
If its debauchery then there's places in Europe a lot cheaper to go for that

Book off the strip, walk or get a taxi! You move around in Vegas, 2 nights here 2 there, and move down! Different nights have different prices depending on what's on locally! You have to do your homework, every place specialises on a theme, all bars, clubs, casinos(hotels) you can save so much if you know how too. |

Its a super spot, so much to do.
Just bring plenty of money. But if you're going that far, it aint to scrimp and save. |

Went in December.
Was my first time.
Great atmosphere. Barely gamled at all.
Definitely would go back.
Had to connect via Chicago on the way - and then Seattle on the way back!!  do 'Direct' will be a god send.
And there's always some event on.

I always say this. Def needs to be seen an experienced at least once. We didn't do partying or mad gambling when there and absolutely loved it. |

Neither did we , we must of put up 25000 steps a day minimum, eat well, done Down town got in two shows a concert, rocknroll marathon was on ,grand canyon the Hoover dam small bit of gambling sure it's Vegas baby, but all the locals were saying New Orleans and Nashville is the next must see, fancy coming along |

I was there 6 years ago for 2 days.
Walked the strip in the middle of the night and went to the Grand Canyon and the Hoover Dam.
It was part of a longer trip but the only part I wouldn't be in a hurry to repeat.
It was great to experience and gave me a feeling for the place but it's not my sort of city. |
