Over the past few years, the Thursday crowd seems to comprise mostly of younger folk whereas the Friday tends to be older*

*Until the drink starts flowing, at which point both groups become infantiles.

Just heading home now after 4 days of it. I thought it was quieter this year. I'd a great time and town wasn't too bad either. I'd no luck with the horses though.

No luck on the 200/1 winner then???

Throwing a 20 for the win would have returned a tidy sum

We were out at the races Tuesday, I thought it was very quiet, we then headed into town, the atmosphere was good and we enjoyed the night but the sher numbers of people were just not in it , I think the price of accommodation and the fact they are charging well over the €7 mark for pints at the track is keeping people away
