Hi, new to fab but couldn't help noticing a few things.
Many Ladies do not want to be sent messages with 'hi', 'how is it going', 'how are you', #dickpic, #facepic etc.
How do guys (particularly the unverified) get conversations started, if the usual polite and the unsolicited pix do not get through? Sometimes, there's nothing on their profiles to trigger a discussion and even if there was, 99% chance, they have had such conversation starters previously.
How can one navigate these waters? |

People deliberately put in conversation starters in their profile. It proves you have read their profile.
The main thing is treat people with respect.
I detest dick pics. I've seen so many they all look the same. I don't find them attractive. If I like a guy for other reasons I'll find their dick attractive. Big or small, whatever. It's the brain of the person who it's attached to is the sexy thing.

Tbh, if a profile has very little writing on it, I don’t bother messaging the person. There’s not much else to say in that scenario other than ‘nice pics’. I presume that the person doesn’t want messages from other members.
For the profiles that have a decent bit of info, I put a conversation starter at the top and see how it goes. It’s hit and miss if they reply but that’s the nature of fab so I don’t take it personally. |

Rule number one in life - if you have nothing to say - say nothing.
I've never seen anyone complain about receiving face pics tbh.
Some might assume that you're less discreet just because you have yours on your profile, but most people will genuinely appreciate it.
In general It's always nice to introduce yourself with one so the receiver can see who's approaching them.
Re conversation starters - generally best practice is to work on your own profile and make sure that it genuinely represents you as many people will read your bio first before even opening your message.
Your profile looks sound to me.
If a person's profile doesn't spark a coherent conversation starter other than "hi" "how are you" - it's not really worth messaging them in my eyes as changes are the conversation might end up being as dull as the profile.
A good solid dad joke or a joke in general is a good ice breaker, followed up by witty remark on what you liked about that person's profile/photos and why you think you could be a good matc. Don't turn it all sexual within first few messages, build some attraction and mentally engage with a person first. If it's meant to be - it will be.

On dating apps people also pretend to be shy and pretend to look for a relationship and dates while in reality all they want is a one night stand, but choose not to be honest about it 🤷♀️ |

It's really not that difficult.
The solution is not to try and satisfy anyone or everyone.
Most women have much more respect for a man who doesn't try to tick lots of boxes and focuses solely on being himself rather than an echo chamber and retains his self respect. |

I find writing an opening message pretty easy but I get why some people find it difficult.
But as other have said if there is nothing about the profile you want to message that inspires you to write something beyond hello or hi then why bother?
I mean if your messaging solely because you like their titties and fancy a fuck just say that... ot probably won't work but at least it beats hi |

Attraction is what it is though right? Whatever reasons people might give, if they are attracted those small things don't matter. So those people aren't for you. 🤷♂️ |
