Do you read a full profile to see exactly what the person is looking for or about?
Have you messaged anyways even when the page specifically suggests you are not what they’re looking for?
If so why?

Like I’d never message a profile that didn’t want me to..it’s a waste of time but also just complete ignorance
Thankfully we just delete and move on but I’ve known friends who have hidden profiles and even come off FAB because of it

Only message people as part of something on the forums and If I can't because of filters that's fine
Normally only read profiles once and forget them to be honest
I wouldn't have a clue what most people are looking for |

I don't send messages and haven't done for years but when I did I only messaged people I thought would be compatible because their preferences and mine seemed to match.
I've had quite a few messages though in this profile from women and couples and on the couples profile from men and other couples who don't tick any box at all and they are just chancing their arm. |

Yip I'll always read the profile, and won't send a message if not what the person is looking for. If you can't respect the wishes of the profile, what confidence would that give the person or couple that you'd respect their wishes in person |

The ones that annoys me the most is they message me asking to message a profile on their behalf to put in a good word especially if i know the profile or if im meeting them socially they'll ask me to put in a good word😡 |

We always read the profile no point in chatting to arrange a meet if you are not what they are looking for.
Having said that we do get a good few messages from people that and we are outside their age preference. Think that's due to my gorgeous hotass sexy wife .
I guess that way people get to filter for themselves
We don't mind chatting to new comers outside of our age preference . I think it's polite to make them feel welcome and answer any questions they might have.
We were all newbies at one stage, I know we really appreciated all the help and advice we got when we started out. |

I can only imagine how frustrating that must be if it is relentless.
As a fairly new single male this is not a challenge I am facing……yet. But I’ll give it a week or two and then I imagine I’ll be drowning in solicitations 🤔

Sometimes if we reply to fabs with a message thanking someone for them and saying that it's appreciated but you don't meet smokers for them to reply saying they do meet smokers and didn't know they had that particular preference marked we Sometimes send the odd wink in the hope of a reply but don't expect anything |

TBH, this is the only "ticked box" sometimes I don't respect. Just because there were cases in the past when they said "that rulle is there to not be bothered by too many" or they didn't know that box is ticked or they simply were willing to make exceptions.
Anything else, I read carefully and I don't contact unless I believe we're on the same page. |

I read a profile before messaging, also any visible veris and mooch through the pics. If their profile expressed a preference excluding me, i wouldn't message. Seems like common sense tbh.
Any message that starts ‘nice pics..’ i know they will not have read my profile bio. Some read and message anyway expecting me to change my mind. A waste of their time and mine. |

I usually scan for age, height, hair (beard or balls) and if that's all good and they match all my preferences like having a heart beat and boobs I probably wouldn't message anyway because their obviously fake.

Even though I don't send messages I will look at profiles now and again but I rarely read a full bio or look at their interests because I'm not meeting or messaging.
The very first thing I look at is their age and if they fall outside my preferences I don't go any further, not even to look at the pics.

I love reading a good bio even if by the end they say no men under 7ft or something. I normally never read interests because it's usually bollox.
Bios can be really interesting because you'll see a lot of "I will only meet these requirements" then you look at the verifications and you seriously wonder.
Saying that, I wish more people would make efforts with bios. And would I message if I'm out of their bio? Not really, it's not worth it. |

I always read a persons profile & that's why l have the word R E S P E C T on my profile , for them & you , RESPECT is everything , read their profile & if you are NOT what they are looking for ,don't message..it's called RESPECT..for them & you .. simple really
