To be perfectly fair now, what would've been creepy would have been knocking on her window and talking to her about it but he didn't do that.
Maybe if he mentioned the exact location, the colour or reg of her car or what she was wearing then you could call it creepy.
Posting on here as he did is little different to posting about having seen someone close to him on "who's near".
On a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being very creepy and 1 being "Ah sure look" then this is just a bit over "Ah sure look". |

I've been caught/seen scrolling on Fab i. Public and have got that odd weird look "like they knew" what I was on. One guy actually smirked at me on a bus one day and it was the most awkward cringy feeling Ive ever felt, mostly because I'm a
straight guy but I think I'd still be a bit weirded out if a girl did the same.
Going forward I've ordered one of those privacy screen protectors👌 |

Woah FFS!.. So wasn't being creepy.
Not like I leering through the window, pointing at the phone, grinning and thrusting at her!
Just thought it was amusing as it occurred to me that I must have been seen doing the same thing a million times.
Stoll on..

Having been the recipient of a message asking if I enjoyed the lunch I picked up in Tesco, I can categorically tell you that a stranger messaging you or posting about you going about your daily life is creepy as fuck.
I understand that it’s not a thing that most men have to be concerned about and thus it can seem like an over reaction.
Just don’t do it 🤷🏻♀️ |

There's no comparison between that and this.
In your case the exact location is given, and the precise nature of that you were doing is mentioned.
This post basically said a woman in Wexford is on fab.
They are not the same. |

Genuinley sorry that happened to you but please don't conflate the two things .. I effectively said that a woman was looking at Fab in the county of Wexford.. I didnt narrow anything further of give any additional detail that could identify further.
I'm very sorry to the ladies of the model county if you feel I've outed you all en masse!

Put yourself in the shoes of that woman, reading this post on fab. It’s less the content of the post and more the reading about yourself going about your daily life.
Like I said, I understand that to most men it seems like an over reaction. |

No, being a man I'm sure it's obvious that I'd never look at anything from anyone else's perspective.
However, if you can't see the difference between this and the situation you mentioned pertaining to yourself then yes, I believe you are indeed overreacting. |

OK so for clarity...
Toms not a creep...
A perve? Yes definitely 😆
All harmless from our perspective. |

.....
This.
On the overall fab scale of things, to me this is a totally innocent post. No one identified or compromised in any way and nothing nasty said about anyone.
There are way too many White Knights on here who are overly quick to dump on someone for what they see as an inappropriate post when in fact no harm was meant and nothing sinister was intended.
Some people on fab need to get a grip and if they are going to be offended by almost every post they read then perhaps they need to open their minds to the fact that not everything posted on here will be in agreement with their thinking but it is still a valid contribution to the forums by the person who posts it.

I think it would be less creepy if the title wasn't 'Was it you?'.
Because intentionally or not, if that woman does happen to read this, or any woman in Wexford who was on fab outdoors today, she's gonna feel like a man was looking over her shoulder and then posted about it on a sex site.
I doubt you meant that. But it is what it is. |
