Whos is up for setting up a rota and we dump the kids off at a partisapating fabbers house no questions asked. Kids get to leave the sitter a verification ha ha. MarkandEm14 we're great. Loads of pizza and let us stay up late. Definitely recommend for sitting  |

My mum and dad in the 50's moved into a housing estate along with hundreds of other newly weds
No one had any money so after they all started families they took it in turn to sit in and mind all the other kids while all the others went to one house and had a night drinking and dancing
My mother told us years ago that your turn on the rota only came every two months
Even now over 50 yrs later when I call home and some of my mothers friends are in they tell me I was a little terror who'd never settle and go asleep in my mosses basket

I was rared in the country 7 uncles and 2 aunts all along the same road, spent our Sundays in our Granny's house which was in the middle. It was amazing 🥰 No-one knew where the feck we were!
We're not living there now but should definitely be looking after eachothers kids! A night away is hard for us atm! |

I’m the favourite uncle who lives with Nana so I do all the minding 🫡 drop them off to me and they’ll be in bed at 9 or the boogie man will pay a visit!
