Fab etiquette, pt 2?

So, I've been on and off this site for the best part of a decade. It's stayed the same more than it's changed probably, but it does seem to have a gotten bigger in terms of overall population, and so it's gotten harder to find the diamonds among the mess..

Anyway, I've noticed a phenomenon developing over the last cupla years of people (I say people, it's always men) responding to a question by completely ignoring the question I've asked and then asking a different question himself. It's happened too many times with different lads. Has anyone else come across this kinda thing? It annoys me probably more than it should, but I just find it so rude and disrespectful.

Like, is it a power move? A dominance strategy? Is it something they're learning from these so-called pick up artists?

....or am I just obsessing over something that irritates me and it's not that big a deal??

I don't mind a private message being ignored completely, of the person just isn't interested. That makes sense.

But if you're in the middle of a text conversation, and the other person ignores multiple questions but keeps asking questions himself. It's strange, but I've noticed it too often for it to be just a few weirdos.

I usually disengage once I notice it happening.

We're they well verified accounts?

Because, just from what your saying above, it screams fake accounts to me.

It's not strange at all. It's a distraction technique so you won't cop on that they aren't actually a couple.

Possibly Ai , or working from a script 🤔 I know I sometimes ponder over a message before sending , ie my message box is open for a while before I reword spell check etc and by the time I send it , 2 or 3 message could of come through not related to my reply does that make sense !!

Apologies for not reading more. You are obviously talking about single male profiles.
