Myself and 3 or 4 mates heading to Donegal in mid April. Looking for suggestions for things to do. Planning on staying near Croaghlin, Carrick, Co. Donegal for 2 nights. All suggestions welcome

The Fish Shack (mobile chippy) at the seafront in Killybegs has a taster box of all sorts of things and it's honestly the best fish, hake, prawns etc I've ever had.

Obviously go to the cliffs for a walk. Also St Johns Lighthouse. Ardara has a great wee pub called Nancy's well worth a pint or two.

MAGHERAFELT

Had to go and check the spelling. Cruit Island is a lovely wee place to go to do nothing. I remember being there on a warm bank holiday. Had the place to myself!!

Mayo, Sligo

Silver Strand, Malinbeg, amazing beach

The deserted village at Port lovely scenery and pure bliss.

Both places close enough to you

South Dublin

Golfing on Cruit Island.

Walking on Arranmhór.

Sightseeing at Sliabh Liag.

Malin Head lighthouse.

Lots of small quaint rural pubs.

Visit Tory Island if time allows.

And above all, keep an eye out for Daniel O'Donnell

If they are running the paddle out to Owey Island from Cruit Island its a great job

Walk the Pilgrims Path at Slieve League

Hit the Rusty Mackeral for some scran and a fine pint

McCaffertys in Donegal town should give a fine dose of food, craic and a good drink too.

Beaches a plenty everywhere

Maybe we will need more than 2 days up there
