Anyone try the Dubai chocolate bar. Seen them in a few places lately. At €3.75 gor a small bar and €7.25 for a big bar( which isn't very big anyway). Can't see it being a big seller tbh. What's your opinions?

Minutes from Somewhere Else

This post is the first time I'd even heard of it. Quick Google. Looks good. I'd give it a go.

I don't eat chocolate so I won't be trying it but you're way off the mark if you think it won't be a big seller.

An old customer of mine has been buying it in by the pallet load and can't get enough of it.

It's just the latest fad but has been selling out everywhere for months. It will eventually run out of steam though

It's a trend like prime and whatever that dieting drug is. Tbf a lot of chocolate these days are ridiculously priced. I've heard there might be a cocoa shortage soon which might lead to even higher prices. Maybe I'd try it if it goes down or is free but I doubt it.

It's everywhere I go at the minute, large posters in shop windows and at markets.

No interest in trying it as it doesn't appeal to ne. I'd rather have a galaxy

There already is and bulk chocolate is now more than twice what it was 2 years ago.

No.

Everyone knows the Milkybar kid was killed.

He was working in the warehouse when a pallet of Milkybars fell on him.

Unfortunately, every time he called out "the Milkybars are on me!", everyone just kept cheering!

I'd like to try it but I'm off chocolate for Lent It'd only be for curiosity though, I don't imagine it's something that I'd want regularly.

somewhere

So was in kildare village on Tuesday morning

Knew I was going away this weekend with Tox so bought Tox a bar of Dubai chocolate in The lindt shop

Left it in the car but stupidly on the passenger seat

My wife saw it walking past and asked who the chocolate was for

Told her it was for her for mother's day from the kids

So she got it on Wednesday night instead ....never heard of it before or how expensive it is

Had to drive to Kildare village this morning to get another bar for Tox

I wouldn't mind but I'm off chocolate a month now
