Sunday, July 20th Charity BBQ Event.
Following on the success of last year's fundraiser, we have decided to run our popular Charity BBQ again this year.
Last year we raised over €2770.
When we first started out on our socials organising journey, we said at some stage that we would like to run an event for charity and give a little back.
We have decided again to raise funds for Jigsaw.
Jigsaw provides free, confidential, and brief mental health support for young people aged 12 - 25 in communities around Ireland. As both parents of young adults who struggle with their mental health, it is an organisation close to our hearts.
The BBQ will be held on Sunday, July 20th, from 2 pm till 6 pm in a location within 10 miles of Athlone.
The cost per ticket is €25 and non refundable.This is for entry, and the cost charged to us by the establishment for the BBQ per person. We do not make any money out of this event whatsoever.
People who wish to purchase a place can pay via revolut. There will be donation buckets available on the day.
Anyone who can not attend but wishes to contribute, we can send the link on where you can donate too.
This is foremost a fundraising event, not a Fab Event, with a social vibe opened to verified and non verified fab members.
We have been working hard to secure a venue with an agreeable price. So we would appreciate the support that you can give us on the day.
We will update this post regularly, and feel free to message us with any questions that you may have.

Attended last year was a great day and night. Good laugh, good food, met awesome people and raising money for mental health is always a plus in my books. Not sure with work about getting the Monday off but will see. Can put me down for a ticket anyways. Happy to donate |

So I'm not saying you should all take the Monday off, but if you don't, you're basically putting yourself at risk.
