How competitive are you? Do you like to play/do things on your own or do you prefer team activities? What's your greatest achievement?

Yip I'm competitive, greatest achievement as a player was winning a county minor hurling medal and playing County at minor.

I now coach and greatest achievement is coaching my daughter in soccer to U16 league and cup victory and making last 8 in the SFAI Cup

Not competitive at all....want to do my very best in everything I do but for me and my family ...not to beat someone else to win

Never very good at competitive sports or games but haven't played any in years

Even on Fab I don't see it as a competition between the other men and me on here

Yeah I'm fairly competitive but maybe less so as I've got older.

I practice hard and I play to win always, but I'm not an arse about it if we don't. If I'm not up to scratch on the day, I'll be the first to offer to stand down to better out chances of winning. If my performance isn't as good as it should be, there'll be no harsher critic than myself. However if others let the side down, I tend to console rather than criticise.

Biggest achievement? All-Ireland Champion, Ulster Champion, Champion of Champions and 6th in the World Championships in the heady days of my mid 20s

I've never been competitive.

I have a couple of silver and bronze medals for sporting events when I was at school but I haven't competed for anything since.

I have set myself various goals over the years and achieved those along with other people but never gave any thought as to whether I got there first or tenth. Just the fact of being there was an achievement in itself.

My greatest achievement has been raising 3 strong independent women.

My competitiveness comes from my constant need of self improvement, every time I train I’m a little better than I was before, even if sometimes it doesn’t feel like it learning is improving. I do it for most aspects in life. Helps me keep pushing forward when the energy levels are low. I’m TDH and welcome to my TED talk

I’m competitive in sport and when there is something in life thats worth competing for. I often compete against myself can I better my time, can I lift more. It’s in my psychology makeup to compete and the success releases dopamine, and we all repeat habits that releases dopamine

Hugely competitive but mostly with myself. Pushing limits. Scaring the shite out of myself doing things that raise my adrenaline.

Also my biggest achievement is my children (both pushing their fear boundaries as adults too). 😀

Sport played a huge part in my life , being competitive ?? Jeez ..let's just say l tried to give myself the best chance everytime & yes no matter what the event was ..even if it was only a kick around in the garden , giving yourself the best chance everytime only ment you loved the sport & wanted to improve & nothing at all wrong with trying to improve no matter what you're at .

I always preferred solo sports, canoing, mountaineering, orienteering. In school I was always the sub on the team. But, I've excelled at pushing my own limits, and achieved things I once thought were impossible. I often throw my self in the deep end and when I see the insurmountable task ahead, have the usual naive Irishman's believe.."sure, it'll be grand".. and it always is. I don't think I compete with others, though.
