Is it just me or is there a sudden spike in threads/posts clearly taking the piss being completely missed by vast swathes of fabbers.
Is sarcasm dying?
Is it wokes fault?

I have bouts where I like to put something up on the forum, usually trying to be a bit thought provoking and a healthy discussion. Some are pretty successful and others just end with really bad faith that makes me not want to engage. There's a funny creator who makes jokes about how ridiculous forums are like discord ect. Some of it reminds me of here. |

I think when people post things that are supposed to be sarcastic, but you look at it and think- yeah that is possible- it kinda reverses on that person. I have a forum post in mind as I type this that is currently very popular, but I think because it’s possible, the respondents are trying to be nice because most people are kind |

You have to be extremely careful how you interact with forum threads as some people have what could be called very different senses of humor or more apt no humor at all and take everything the wrong way but 95% plus of general people get the scarscasm intended by posters |
