I am a _aid back guy, who doesnt sweat the small things...... at least I thought I was until I got stuck in traffic behind a land cruiser today for 30 mins. That was fine, but what annoyed me waaaaay more than it should have was, the number plate wasn't in the middle, it was to the left. It ruined my whole morning😂😂
What annoys you waaaay more than it should? |

Not Belfast but NI |
Cars parked incorrectly in parking spaces and taking part of the space beside it.
Meeting people in their big fancy cars on narrow country roads who expect others to pull in tight to the hedge to allow them to pass so they dont scratch their cars. I am rarely in a hurry now so I just sit them out till they reverse or pull over!

If you are getting fuel at a garage with 10 pumps what's the fucking point in filling up at the pay at pump if you are going into the shop for your breakfast anyway???
Pay for your fucking diesel in the shop and stop blocking the pump ya prick!! |

Back in the day it was seen as acceptable to fill your fuel and pull the vehicle off the forecourt into a parking space before going into the shop. It kept the pumps free and made perfect sense. Nowadays they tell you not to do it so you have to leave your vehicle at the pump, go into the shop and pay, then come back out and move the car before going back in to get a sandwich to take out. It's the shop's own fault, not the driver who doesn't want to waste half their day in and out of the shop. |

That's grand but I'm talking about the ones who only ever fill up at the pumps where you can pay rather than at the other 8 empty ones. If they are going into the shop anyway what's the fucking point? |

Really....this is now a thing!
I always move and park before going in to pay and have never been asked to leave my car at the pump while completing my fuel purchase.
Is there some new sign or a loudspeaker announcement that I have been ignoring or does the person at the till berate you for not complying with the forecourt etiquette.

Tbh I've never noticed places with only some pumps with the self pay option. I thought they either had them on all pumps or on none. 🤷 |

I've been called out on the tannoy a couple of times... "would the owner of the truck, registration number etc, please pay for the fuel before moving" despite having already moved.
I've had a manager arrive at the parking space as I got out of the van and follow me to the checkout.
I've had people shouting out the window at me and yes, I've been remonstrated with at the counter for having moved.
I generally point out to them that I won't be returning to those places and go elsewhere. It's not an inconvenience as I'm always on the road anyway. |

Our local garage is a supermarket as well. But what really pisses me off is people parking at the pumps, not buying fudl but going in to do their shopping and even worse going in to eat at the deli and not giving a shit that people who want fuel can't it. |

Omg yes....and not indicating where the fek they are getting off it at!
Indicators are on cars for a reason! "
You are right, if I'm not mistaken, left indicator means "you can come over and watch us having sex in our car. But no touching"
and right means "you can come over and join in if you wish"

Probably in case you're driving off without paying. It incurs a mountain of paperwork and something akin to the Spanish Inquisition for the cashier that "allowed" you to drive off. |

Unless you're taking the first exit!! But I suspect you meant "GET IN THE CORRECT LANE" "
If you're taking the second exit, which is generally straight ahead, you should also be in the left lane. |

I can appreciate that to an extent but one if them was a station that I love about 100m from and used it twice a week on average. Most of them, including the manager, would have known me at the time. Sure lookit.. |

Aye...no need in that situation at all
But the sinking feeling is real when the big red dot appears on your screen and you fearfully look out the window to find the car has gone. I've actually paid for the absconding customer's fuel before rather than face the ensuing shit storm 🤣

I got fuel in a local garage years ago and bought stuff from the deli counter. 2 hours later when I was up on the north coast I remembered that I had only paid for my food and forgot to pay for the fuel.
On my way back I went in and told the guy what had happened and he said I should have just kept quiet and said nothing because he would have to account for it now. |

Far far away |
People on phones at customer service or chatting over to each other...whilst ignoring an actual paying customer.
Over attentive shop staff. "Can I help you" when you have barely got in the door.
Plastic shite from China.. yes it was 1.99 but the blanket is not a handkerchief.

People not using simple manners really p#sses me off
As my father would say, simple manners cost nothing.
Really annoys me when my boss doesn't use Hi, please, thanks in his emails......I normally revert with the most polite well-mannered response possible
