Myself and my ex lived like that for a few years. Rent in Dublin is extortionate and if you have kids and two people working it’s a solution- in my case it was horrific and I’m

Needs must, rent costs & lack of decent local options, shift patterns not suiting for handovers & as a dad getting to see kids just as much still, not an ideal world but kids come first |

Simply prefer a good nights sleep.
Add kids /dogs / snoring/ too warm / wanting windows open v closed, waking at different times... and so on.
But sometimes, as above, the dynamic isnt there anymore. |

Wife snores and also our physical relationship is gone, she knows I’m here, better than a dating site in our opinion, hey I don’t mind, we still look out for each other, and get along better than ever, just our sleeping arrangements are different now. |

But hang on, these women who just get to "stroll in" and have sex whenever they want are presumably having with with the man? He has a choice as to whether he has sex with her or not at that time, just the same as she does. The fact that he chooses to say yes rather than no is his choice and not something that she should be blamed for. Would you expect her to be forcing herself to have sex regardless of whether she wants to or not? I never understand this way of thinking. |
