I'm grabbing my guitar and heading up the clare coast, up to White strand for the day. By myself, for a little peaceful contemplation and to lay back stare at the clouds let my imagination form pictures looking at them. |

Went up to the back of Coumshingaun a couple of years ago. Nowhere on else quite like it on a clear day. I sat up there above the lake for a couple of hours drinking in the views. |

Went up to the back of Coumshingaun a couple of years ago. Nowhere on else quite like it on a clear day. I sat up there above the lake for a couple of hours drinking in the views. "

All of the Comeragh mountains offer some fantastic scenery and good hillwalking opportunities.
Coumduala, when the lake and the waterfall feeding it are frozen over can be quite spectacular. |

How does that compare to Coumshingaun in terms of difficulty? It doesn't look to be as high as the hill at the back of Coumshingaun, which I have to admit took it out of me at the time getting up along the rocks at the side of the lake, but it sounds like it could be harder going from what I've just read. |

How does that compare to Coumshingaun in terms of difficulty? It doesn't look to be as high as the hill at the back of Coumshingaun, which I have to admit took it out of me at the time getting up along the rocks at the side of the lake, but it sounds like it could be harder going from what I've just read. "
Coumduala is a more gradual climb and not as much scrambling over rocks as Coumshinguan. It is located at the other side of the same mountain so similar height.
